S&S PATTERN STUDIO

S&S Pattern Studio is a surface pattern design studio creating hand-drawn, story-driven collections for licensing across fabric, home décor, children’s products, stationery, and lifestyle goods.

 

Each collection begins with hand-drawn sketches developed through traditional and digital techniques, then evolves into cohesive, production-ready surface pattern systems including hero prints, coordinating patterns, and blender designs.

 

My approach is shaped by my background as a textile maker and the founder of Stitch & Story by Irina, where I have spent years working hands-on with quilting cottons, vintage and European textiles, and thoughtfully coordinated fabric collections. This experience has given me a practical understanding of how individual prints, scales, colors, and textures come together not only on a screen, but in the hands of makers.

 

That perspective carries into my pattern design, where I combine thoughtful composition, color storytelling, and hand-drawn detail to create artwork that feels distinctive, cohesive, and commercially usable for brands and manufacturers.
